quick request:

Windows 10 Spring April Update

Windows 10 Spring April Update

The previous Spring update, was delayed, and subsequently renamed April 2018 update. This will self roll out to computers over the next few days and weeks. Most likely this will install in the background and prompt you to reboot, or may self reboot within the maintenance hours.

Just note that the reboot process could take quite a while depending  on your PC speed and we have had circumstances where reboots for updates have taken an hour or more to complete. We recommend, if you haven’t already, to reboot at the end of the day, and see if it begins the update process. You can also kick it off manually by pressing the windows logo (bottom left) of your keyboard, type in ‘update’ and press enter. This should then bring up the Windows Update screen where you can see any pending updates, click to check for newer updates, and see if a reboot is required.

If you have any issues please email us support@battech.com.au or call 02 9698 9644.
